Medieval times scottsdale drew8/29/2023 ![]() ![]() You have two free rounds of any non alcoholic beverage to drink then you are served a desert and coffee. You are served a soup, bread, half a garlic baked potato, corn on the cob and a half a chicken. The food is served and you eat with your hands. Be mindful of your neighbors cause you are close together. You sit at a long bench like table with individual seats (no arms on the seat). Once in side the area it is stadium seating. They do have NON Alcoholic beverages such as ices for the kids as well. There is a full bar service and you can purchase souvenir cups for all your drinks. ![]() They have many gift shops to walk around in and a torture chamber to view (ticket sold separately) I would not recommend children under the age of 16 to view. We purchased “The Queens Package” online which was great because it gives you access to the area in the first two rows. This is a great activity to do with the whole family. (I bought it cause it was a really good photo of my daughter and she wanted it) They take a photo of you with the Queen upon arrival and it will set you back $20 to buy it. We told them we were there celebrating our daughter's birthday but did not buy the party package cause it was just a family outing and she was not included in the birthday announcement. only if you pay extra for the party packages. They do announce birthdays and celebrations. The show was fun, I felt bad about booing the other side but quickly found the more I engaged with the show the more fun I was having. For as nice as the rest of the building is, it was a surprise to see such low quality signs in that area. Only half our party chose to go through it and while they have some cool items to view, the descriptions are printed on plain paper from a low quality printer. We were disappointed that the Musuem was an extra $2 per person. we were just waiting in the front lobby area where they have many items for sale, a bar and the Museum of Torture. Since we arrived early, like the other 200 people who came. It seems like all the seats have a great view, we were seated in the blue section on the top row which the whole top row is ADA accessible. we arrived an hour early as recommended on the website. As a first time guest we were unsure what to expect and made a few mistakes that you can easily avoid. When choosing to visit Medieval Times consider what is important to you in the experience. So if you are thinking about it, go! But don’t waste your money on being a VIP. I hate to give this a poor review because it was a fun experience, but the customer service could have been a lot better. He finally had to go and get it from the bar himself. ![]() The only other complaint that I had was that one gentleman in our group purchased a bottle of wine before the show and they were supposed to bring it to his seat. We thoroughly enjoyed the show itself and would likely go again, but I doubt that we would ever pay for the VIP experience again. They seated us nearly last, we got some sort of “ice cream” for dessert that tasted nasty and not like Ice cream at all and we were served last despite the fact that we had paid the extra for the VIP experience. First of all, we paid for the queens Royalty VIP package expecting to be able to get seated first and it said we would receive cake for dessert. ![]() While I do realize there are different rules because of COVID, I was disappointed by a couple of things.
